Note For Participants

South Asian Youth Summit 2017 will be a meeting point for representatives of youths, governments, civil organizations, academic institutions, public and private foundations, international organizations and the general public. The total youth delegates will be around 400 (Break up is 40 each from each SAARC’s member states and 2 representatives each from each government with 30 from host city).

  • All delegate speakers should prepare a 10 minutes power point slides for presentation as per your action plan. Additional time of 5 minutes will be provided for Questions & Answers;
  • There are 3 Awards to be presented:
    • SAARC Youth Icon Award 2017
    • Best Participant Award 2017
    • Best Speaker Award 2017
  • Registration / participation Fee is not refundable in any case;
  • Participation in the general events of the South Asian Youth Summit and specific events of the Conference, or the or all Special Sessions, or Social Programs, or Invited Speakers Programs , or Observers’ Program;
  • Participation in the South Asian Youth Summit Opening and Closing Ceremonies;
  • 4 nights of accommodation (17-09-2017 – 20-09-2017) [Check In by 12 am (IST) & Check Out by 12 pm (noon)];
  • 4 breakfasts, 3 coffee breaks and 1 day sightseeing;
  • Participation in Opening Gala Dinner and Concert of Classical music and Cultural Programs and Closing Gala Dinner;
  • Materials of the South Asian Youth Summit; Invitations to the South Asian Youth Summit 2017 required for the visa application (the electronic version is included in the package);
  • The host organizer WILL NOT provide expenses for air fare, visa and other related charges. They are the responsibility of the participants or their sponsoring agencies. It is recommended that you apply for visa as soon as possible;
  • Foreigners are not allowed / permit to go independently outside of the event venue with or without local delegates without prior information;

  • Delegates from Pakistan are subject to clarification from Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India;
